These terms apply to all equipment rentals from Feehy Rentals. Please read carefully before booking.
Self Pickup:
Equipment must be returned to our Paraduwa location. Rental
begins at the time the item leaves our control.
Home Delivery:
Standard delivery starts at
LKR 500 (within 5km
of Akuressa Town). Locations beyond 5km or large equipment
requiring specialized transport incur additional surcharges.
Delivery includes setup and a professional demo.
All rental fees and service charges are due in full at pickup/delivery. A valid Government ID (NIC/License) is mandatory for all rentals. Rental fees are non-refundable once the equipment is in the Renter's possession.
A refundable deposit is required (Standard: LKR 5,000). Refunds are processed only after return, inspection, and functional testing. Feehy Rentals reserves the right to retain the deposit until full damage assessments are complete.
Late returns are charged hourly as per the Equipment Schedule. Uncommunicated delays exceeding 24 hours will be treated as wrongful retention, and legal recovery action may be initiated using the provided identification details.
The Renter must ensure a stable power supply (230V) and required utilities (like clean water for washers). No sub-renting or third-party use is permitted. Equipment must be used safely and only for its intended purpose. For motorized tools, a 15-minute rest for every 45 minutes of use is required.
The Renter assumes all risk of loss, damage, or injury. If equipment is stolen or lost, the Renter is liable for the Full Market Replacement Value. Any balance exceeding the deposit must be settled within 7 days of notice.
By signing the Equipment Schedule, you agree to the Master Terms and the specific conditions listed above.
